Prevention of pelvic organ prolapse
Posture –
Pelvic organs are balanced inside the female body supporting each other.
Proper posture helps support the organs’ natural positioning. Training
yourself in proper posture may help prevent pelvic organ prolapse from
beginning
Pelvic floor strengthening – Doing Kegel exercises and other pelvic floor
exercises may help support the pelvic organs and prevent pelvic organ
prolapse. There are ways to improve the effectiveness of Kegels, including
different positions and devices such as the Kegelmaster.
Lose
weight - Excessive weight adds strain to the walls of the vagina and
the internal organs. Losing weight will reduce this strain
